The Research and Development in Information and Communication Technologies Centre is an infrastructure promoted by Fundecyt-PCTEX for the promotion of the business network in the field of ICTs and the development of technological research projects. Today the building houses the regional headquarter of INDRA Software Labs, with a staff made up of over 300 employees.
Conceived as an energy research centre, its main activity is focused on the wide range of renewable energies, from the information and communications systems to the regulations and methods for specific tests. With research lines in biomass, biodiesel, photovoltaic solar, wind energy, software, ICTs and support systems to these types of energy, RENEWABLE CETIEX contributes to the performance of the technologies used in energy production and facilitates the introduction into the market with the aim of transforming the actual energetic system into an environmentally sustainable model.
